Edit instruments

Edit instruments

By selecting an instrument in the view and clicking Edit a dialogue containing relevant information opens up in the side bar, sometimes in multiple tabs.

Note!

Instruments assigned for calibration are locked out from editing while they are being calibrated. This is indicated with a lock icon on the righthand side of the view

Edit form

It is possible to navigate the tab pages either using the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom or using the different tab buttons for Position, Device, Function etc.

Clicking Save confirms the edit and closes the side bar. If you want to cancel the edit, click X in the top right corner of the side bar.

The edit action is also accessible through the context menu for every instrument.


Add quantities and units

Quantities and units can easily be added when editing an instrument. By clicking the add buttons besides the corresponding quantity or unit field, the form for adding is opened in the left side view. Add quantities and units


Move a plant node

A plant node can be moved by starting with editing a plant node

  • Remove existing plant structure
  • Select the plant path where you want to move it and click Save.

Edit custom fields

Available fields are shown in the instrument editor. To make the custom fields accessible in the calibrator they first have to be added to the instrument. To add them to the instrument, just click the + Add button for each desired field.

For removing a custom field from the instrument, click the X next to the field.
